A splinter in the night's sky: Continuation.

Book one of the continuation series. It follows on from the events in Monaco as the world comes face to face with a threat which could, on any given day, rise up to once again threaten everything.

He is not alone in this. It is not just his story. Nor is he anyone's hero. But he might just be the right man in the wrong place.

That you would resist until you were ready.

Is it perhaps more foolish to consider you may ever be ready?

But out there, in the silence between the stars, there are wonders and horrors alike.

Who amongst us would not be tempted?

A man pulled back into the action. Offered the helm of Earth's latest warship.  The Valiant.

His mission, first contact with an alien race which is somehow isolated from the Obelisk's network. 

Also, Hacker's map. That is going to be a thing.
